What can Linhares Trucking do for you? Whether you are purchasing a vehicle online or through an auto auction, or you are moving and need to transport your vehicles, we are here to help make it an easy venture with little effort on your part.  We provide door to door service in most cases and have experience in all manners of automotive shipping.

We also can move power boats up to 30’ on our trailers. Either pulling them out of the water or taking them off of stands, contact us for worry-free transportation of your boat. We  can also  move sailboats up to 20’ on your stands on our flat bed trailers.

When you call us we are usually able to fit you into our schedule within 2-7 days depending on the size & weight of the vehicle, distance, road conditions and weather.  Once the vehicle is picked up it is taken to it’s destination within 3 days if  within our normal geographic area (at right). Delivery dates are never guaranteed due to road conditions, weather, and other issues beyond our control. You do have our guarantee, however, that we will always make our best effort to maintain the schedule. 

If the vehicle is inoperable there may be an additional charge on top of the transportation fee. This charge is usually $25.00.  We provide air for flat tires and battery boosting free of charge.

We have routinely provided transportation to our Canadian customers, bringing purchased vehicles to the borders in ME, VT & NY. We are familiar with all parking lots & facilities that will accept cars & trucks awaiting paperwork to catch up so they can be taken across the border.

Linhares Trucking is also an excellent resource for parents whose children are going to or coming home from college. Parents can have the car shipped and the student can fly home without the worry of a long car drive on hazardous highways.

Taking your worry out of any damages that might occur we provide $100,000 cargo insurance & $1,000,000 liability at no extra charge.  All vehicles are given a thorough written inspection on both pick up and delivery . We are proud to state that we have never placed a claim to either of these policies!

*PLEASE NOTE:  It is potentially illegal and also ill-advised to store/ship personal items in a vehicle that is being transported. Due to Department of Transportation regulations no more than 100 lbs of additional weight in the trunk is allowed. We are not responsible for any items left in vehicles that are then stolen or damaged.  NEVER leave medications, important paperwork, plants, alcohol, contraband or animals inside the vehicle to be shipped. We reserve the right to refuse transportation or charge an additional fee to cover any extra weight that personal items in said vehicle adds to the shipment. We are an auto transportation company, not a moving or shipping company.
